After a string of five wins, Brazos Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grandview Zebras. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Brazos Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Grandview, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Brazos Christian will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Providence Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grandview, they will be taking part in a tournament against Leon at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
