Preston entered their tilt with Fairmont Senior on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Polar Bears. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

While Preston won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 26-24, 25-18.

Preston's victory bumped their record up to 13-24-1. As for Fairmont Senior, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Preston will venture away from home to challenge University at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fairmont Senior, they will head out to face off against Clay-Battelle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
