League recap: Lagrange overpowering for Life Center Academy in past week

Life Center Academy's Adam Lagrange was the best pitcher in the league this week. He won two games and struck out eight batters.

Life Center Academy went from 11756 to 11510 in the national rankings since last week after going 2-0 in the past seven days. Life Center Academy is currently sitting at No. 514 in the state of New Jersey, thanks to an overall record of 11-4.

Life Center Academy's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing four hits and three walks to lead the league in both categories. Life Center Academy's pitchers have been charged with only 92 hits and have struck out 92 batters. Adam Lagrange is tops on the staff with 35 Ks.

Life Center Academy stole 13 bases this week, adding to its league-leading 89 steals on the year.

John Trotman was the player of the game on Thursday, with six RBIs in Life Center Academy's 4-0 victory over Doane Academy.
