Southern Fulton is 9-1 against Meyersdale since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Indians will look to defend their home field  against the Red Raiders  at 4:30  p.m. Southern Fulton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
Last Saturday,  it was close, but  Southern Fulton sidestepped Rappahannock for  a  4-2 win. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by  exactly two  runs.
 Southern Fulton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Mark Fitz, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Meyersdale hadn't done well against Rockwood recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Wednesday. The Red Raiders walked away with  a   6-2  victory over the Rockets. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Red Raiders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
 Aiden Thomas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just two earned runs on three hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Cole Yoder was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Karter Schurg, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Southern Fulton pushed their record up to 8-0 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Meyersdale, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
Meyersdale's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Southern Fulton has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .459. It's a different story for Meyersdale, though, as  they've  only  averaged .364. Will they be able to contain Southern Fulton's hitters?
 Southern Fulton took their  win against Meyersdale  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  16-2 score. Will the Indians repeat their success,  or do  the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
