Softball Recap: WestSide Renegades vs. Tug Valley Panthers
After flying high against Van last Monday, WestSide came back down to earth. The WestSide Renegades took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tug Valley Panthers on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to WestSide of the 5-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.
For Tug Valley's part, Bailee Hall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Hall was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last 13 times she's played.
