Baseball Recap: West Florence Extends Winning Streak to Five

The matchup between West Florence and Lugoff-Elgin on Tuesday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The West Florence Knights walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Lugoff-Elgin Demons. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Demons, too.

The team relied heavily on Newt Hinson, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Evan Deas was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
