Eaton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Estes Park Bobcats 3-0 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Reds as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Eaton took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-8.

Eaton can attribute much of their success to Trinity Salberg, who had four aces and three digs. That's the most aces Salberg has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Harley Forster, who had six aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Eaton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Eaton's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Estes Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Eaton and Estes Park will both be playing Colorado Academy the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Reds will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
