Basketball Recap: Vicksburg's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Vicksburg came into Tuesday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down the Warren Central Vikings 52-35 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Gators: when they faced off against the Vikings back in December of 2024, they had to take a 50-46 loss.

Vicksburg's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 9-11. As for Warren Central, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Vicksburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-45 win against Callaway on the 17th. Warren Central has also already played their next game, a 55-42 loss against Neshoba Central on the 17th.
