Baseball Recap: Pasco Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pasco can now relate to. They lost 15-0 to the Bishop Moore Hornets on Monday. The Pirates were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Hornets' pitchers proved too tough.

With the loss, Pasco broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-8. As for Bishop Moore, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

While Pasco had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
