Cedar extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Everett Kelling. The Reds came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-35 W against the Juab Wasps for which the team can thank Kelling, who rushed for 196 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 168 yards and one TD. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.

Cedar's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Juab, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar will host Carbon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Reds will be up against the Dinos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.89 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Juab, they will welcome North Sanpete at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
