Basketball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic lost against De La Salle Collegiate back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Central Catholic Fighting Irish took a 71-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots. The Fighting Irish's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for De La Salle Collegiate, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-12.

Central Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 77-33 win against Emmanuel Christian on the 1st. As for De La Salle Collegiate, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Chippewa Valley at 7:00 p.m.
