Arcadia waltzed into their contest on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Crescenta Valley Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on Tuesday.

Arcadia let Julian Salmon and Avery Truesdale run wild. Salmon went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Truesdale went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI Truesdale has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Leo Peniche, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Arcadia pushed their record up to 24-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Crescenta Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-7.

Coming up, Arcadia will venture away from home to take on La Mirada at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Apaches 2, the Matadores 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Crescenta Valley, they will welcome South Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
