Basketball Recap: Parkway Drops Season-High Score on South Adams

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parkway). They breezed past the South Adams Starfires to the tune of 66-31 on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Panthers with their most commanding win of the season.

Nolan Colpaert and Hunter Fields certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Colpaert posted eight points and nine boards, while Fields scored four points. Fields is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played.

Parkway's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for South Adams, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-11.

Coming up, Parkway will head out on the road to challenge New Knoxville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Parkway is facing New Knoxville at the right time seeing as New Knoxville is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for South Adams, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 67-31 loss against Monroe Central on the 11th.
