After only one run in their last match, Skyline made sure to put some runs up on the board against Oakland on Wednesday. The Titans put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 17-2 win. Considering the Titans have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Skyline is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Oakland, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Coming up, Skyline will be playing in front of their home fans against Moreau Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mariners will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. Oakland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
