Volleyball Recap: North Bergen Comes Up Short

North Bergen lost against Harrison last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bruins took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Tide.

While North Bergen ultimately came up short, they really made Harrison work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24.

Harrison can attribute much of their success to Brayan Andrade, who had 13 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Andrade has posted since back in May of 2024.

North Bergen's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Harrison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-2.

Looking ahead, North Bergen will face off against Union City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Harrison, they will take on Hudson Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
