Soccer Recap: Plant Takes a Loss

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Plant was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of the Auburndale Bloodhounds by a score of 2-1.

Plant's goal came courtesy of Angelina Gianelli, who's now up to 11 this season.

Plant's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Auburndale, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Mariner the next time they take the pitch. Auburndale will head out to face Mariner at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while Plant will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
