Volleyball Recap: Universal Comes Up Short

Universal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aqsa Legends. If the Stars were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Legends when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16.

Universal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Aqsa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Universal is set to take on their familiar foe MCC at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Aqsa will face off against rival Hinsdale Adventist Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
