Soccer Game Preview: St. Mark's vs. St. George's

The St. Mark's Lions will face off against the St. George's Dragons at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. St. Mark's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for St. Mark's offense. They came up short against Noble & Greenough on Wednesday, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, St. Mark's can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Noble & Greenough are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, St. George's was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and Belmont Hill finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw.

St. Mark's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. With that draw, St. George's record moves to 4-4-2.
