Volleyball Recap: Weimar Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Weimar and Burton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Weimar had to settle for second. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Weimar was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-23.

Leading Burton to victory were Adison Harmel and Paige Fritsch. Harmel had nine digs and two aces, while Fritsch had nine digs and two aces. Harmel has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 20 times she's played.

Weimar's loss dropped their record down to 21-15. As for Burton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Weimar nor Burton have any future games scheduled.
