There's no place like home for Washington, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Elkins Tigers on Saturday as the Washington Patriots made off with a 59-39 win. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Washington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ben Hale, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds. What's more, Hale also posted a 50% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dj Boardley, who shot 83% from the field to rack up 11 points and five boards.

Washington was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They are 11-2 when they've passed the ball that well.

Washington moved to 12-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Elkins, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Coming up, Washington will take on Musselman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Washington will be up against Musselman's rather soft defense (which has allowed 60 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Elkins, they are taking a road trip to square off against Preston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Preston is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season.
