Barr-Reeve proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by four) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Evansville Day Eagles. The win was familiar territory for Barr-Reeve, who have now won four matches in a row.

Landon Gallagher was the driving force of Barr-Reeve's attack as he scored both of Barr-Reeve's goals, bringing his season total up to seven goals.

Barr-Reeve's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Evansville Day, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Barr-Reeve will face off against South Knox at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Barr-Reeve's defense better be ready for this one: South Knox have averaged an impressive 3.4 goals per game this season.
