Soccer Game Preview: Anna vs. Troy

The Anna Rockets will face off against the Troy Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Anna's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coldwater on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Anna have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Troy kept a clean sheet against Fairborn on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Skyhawks. The result was nothing new for Troy, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Fairborn with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sammie Francis, Ella Ritter, and Jayda Dillow.

Troy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six matches. As for Anna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5-1.
