Whitehall waltzed into their game on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Everything went their way against the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians as they made off with a 47-24 victory. Given the Railroaders' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 169th, while the Fordians are ranked 579th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Whitehall pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.3 points per game. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Whitehall will venture away from home to face off against Warrensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitehall's defense has only allowed 24 points per game this season, so Warrensburg's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they will host Hoosick Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
