The biggest upset of the week belonged to Valley View, who took down 386th ranked Poly, 20-0. Abraham Nuno threw for 95 yards and one touchdown and ran for seven yards in the win.

Roman Holston and Daniel Castro provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Canyon Springs. The connection went for 70 yards, the longest such play in Inland Valley this season.

Ruben Kelly was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 101 yards on 10 carries as Arlington lost to the Eagles. Lavell Thomas also contributed to the rushing game with 76 yards on the ground.

Joseph Garcia put up the best numbers through the air as JW North lost to Rancho Verde. He finished with 25 completions for 247 yards and one touchdown. Garcia's favorite target this week was Denzel Foster, who caught seven passes for 82 yards.

Ybarra was the best wideout in the league this week as Poly fell to Valley View. Ybarra tallied three receptions for 89 yards. Luke Navigato helped Poly's passing attack out by catching one ball for 11 yards.

JW North's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Huskies feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Garcia has thrown for 1109 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Marcus Baugh has 27 catches for 410 yards. Foster leads the league in rushing with 1108 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Arlington takes on second place Rancho Verde. The Lions defeated the Cougars last week, while the Mustangs topped the Huskies.

Arlington's Kelly needs only 34 yards against Rancho Verde next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Kelly has rushed for 966 yards on 113 carries so far this year.

Pete Duffy's team moved up to 165 from 205 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Mustangs climbed the ranks as a result of beating JW North 34-13.
