Softball Recap: Osceola Takes a Loss

Osceola and Palm Harbor University pushed the score to 11-9 the last time they played Palm Harbor University, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Warriors fell just short of the Hurricanes by a score of 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Theresa Diez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

The defeat snapped Osceola's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-5 record. As for Palm Harbor University, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osceola will take on River Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palm Harbor University, they will challenge Academy of the Holy Names at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
