Mt. Carmel has gone 8-2 against Ramona recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mt. Carmel Sundevils will head out to challenge the Ramona Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Mt. Carmel and nine for Ramona.

Mt. Carmel came up short against La Jolla on Saturday, falling 59-33. The Sundevils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-12.

Meanwhile, Ramona played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 52-20 defeat at the hands of Escondido. The Bulldogs were down 45-10 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Mt. Carmel now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Ramona, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Everything came up roses for Mt. Carmel against Ramona in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-24 win. In that game, Mt. Carmel amassed a halftime lead of 34-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
