West Campus had won eight straight games and Zach Villanueva did his part to make it nine on Wednesday. The West Campus Warriors came out on top against the Armijo Royals by a score of 69-59 thanks in part to Villanueva, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 14 assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of West Campus' points.

Paul Cyron Diao was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2 blocks per game.

West Campus' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-9. As for Armijo, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-18.

West Campus has already played their next game, a 59-45 defeat against Burbank on the 14th. Armijo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
