Volleyball Recap: Grace Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Grace Christian Crusaders came up short against the St. Mary's Saints on Friday and fell 3-1.

While Grace Christian ultimately came up short, they really made St. Mary's work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 16-25, 26-24.

Despite the defeat, Grace Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gracie Canaday had nine digs and three aces.

Grace Christian's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for St. Mary's, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Grace Christian will face off against St. David's at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary's, they will take on Cary Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Saints are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
