Soccer Recap: Orcutt Academy Comes Up Short

Orcutt Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Coastal Christian Conquerors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in November.

Orcutt Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Coastal Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Orcutt Academy will welcome Bishop Diego at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Coastal Christian, they will face off against Cabrillo at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cabrillo's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
