Softball Recap: Lapel's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Lapel couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers on Tuesday, falling 18-3. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Bulldogs, who until this contest were averaging 3.07 runs allowed.

Lapel saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Bodenhorn, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

With the defeat, Lapel broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-7. As for Alexandria-Monroe, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-1.
