Preview: Florence Buffaloes vs. Blanco Panthers
Florence is 0-10 against Blanco since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Florence Buffaloes will head out on the road to take on the Blanco Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Florence is no doubt hoping to put an end to a 17-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Florence was beaten by Llano 72-25. Florence was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-8.
Meanwhile, Blanco's game on Friday was all tied up 23-23 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy 58-39 victory over Ingram Moore.
Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Blanco, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.
Florence was dealt a bruising 56-22 defeat at the hands of Blanco in their previous matchup back in January. Can Florence avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
