Football Game Preview: Sebring Blue Streaks vs. Lake Gibson Braves + Official Tickets

The Sebring Blue Streaks will challenge the Lake Gibson Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Sebring was handed a 27-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 14-13 victory over Glades Central. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Blue Streaks were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Lake Gibson had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 34-26 win over the Lions. Lake Gibson's victory was all the more impressive since the Lions were averaging only 8.25 points allowed on the season.

Lake Gibson's win came from a few key players Sebring will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Brayden Padgett, who threw for 125 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.
