Volleyball Recap: Harrison Raiders vs. Plainfield Quakers

Harrison faced Plainfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Raiders fell just short of the Quakers by a score of 3-2. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Quakers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Della Bossung paced Harrison's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bossung got some help from Jillian Deno and her 46 assists. Bossung also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Mak Ketterer, each putting up four.

Plainfield can attribute much of their success to Taylor Donovan, who had 11 digs and three assists.
