Basketball Preview: Labette County Grizzlies vs. Pittsburg Dragons
Labette County is 0-10 against Pittsburg since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Labette County Grizzlies will face off against the Pittsburg Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Labette County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season.
Labette County is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Chanute last Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Labette County lost 69-48 to Chanute. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

One of the most active was Kegan Bates, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 13 points along with five assists and three steals. Pittsburg never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Fort Scott last Tuesday. They secured a 55-50 W over the Tigers. That five point margin sets a new team best for the Dragons this season.
Labette County now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Pittsburg, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.
