Softball Recap: Zion-Benton Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Zion-Benton's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Warren Township Blue Devils on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Zee-Bees' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With the loss, Zion-Benton broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-8-1. As for Warren Township, they pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

As for Warren Township, they will face off against Grayslake Central at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
