Softball Game Preview: St. Agnes Academy Tigers vs. Bay Area Christian Broncos

The St. Agnes Academy Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Bay Area Christian Broncos at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Agnes Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last seven games.

St. Agnes Academy's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Incarnate Word Academy with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Bay Area Christian got the win against Northland Christian on Monday by a conclusive 15-0. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

St. Agnes Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Bay Area Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
