Softball Recap: 11 Straight Home Victories for Dripping Springs

Dripping Springs extended their postseason success on Thursday against Cedar Ridge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Raiders. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by just one run.

Sadie Bradford spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on 12 hits.

Dripping Springs pushed their record up to 30-8-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Cedar Ridge, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-5.

Dripping Springs will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
