Volleyball Recap: STEM School Highlands Ranch Comes Up Short + How To Watch

STEM School Highlands Ranch came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sentinels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-15.

Amelia St. Martin paced STEM School Highlands Ranch's offense, picking up nine kills. St. Martin got some help from Evelyn (Evie) Grubb and her 14 assists. St. Martin was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

STEM School Highlands Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Golden View Classical Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

STEM School Highlands Ranch will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Loveland Classical at 5:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Golden View Classical Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Vanguard Classical East on the 13th.
