Basketball Recap: Pickering Piles Up the Points Against Singer

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pickering). They breezed by the Singer Hornets to the tune of 68-25 on Tuesday. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Pickering, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. As for Singer, they moved to 6-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pickering will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Grand Lake on December 30th. As for Singer, they will take on Vinton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Singer is facing Vinton at the right time seeing as Vinton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
