The home team had won the previous three meetings between Ballston Spa and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake kept the tradition alive. The Scotties lost 3-0 to the Spartans on Tuesday. The Scotties were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-14.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake can attribute much of their success to Audri Chamberlain, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs Chamberlain has posted over her last two contests. Lauren Bachand also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Ballston Spa has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, they pushed their record up to 24-4-3 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ballston Spa is set to challenge their familiar foe Niskayuna at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake will square off against rival Albany at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
