Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cedar Ridge). They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Mammoth Spring Bears on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Timberwolves needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Cedar Ridge's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-4. As for Mammoth Spring, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cedar Ridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Marshall at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mammoth Spring will challenge rival Tuckerman at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
