Sandusky suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Norwalk Truckers

This season hasn't been kind to the Sandusky Blue Streaks, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Norwalk on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Sandusky can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 657th, while Norwalk is ranked 149th).

Despite the loss, Sandusky still got an impressive performance from Mae Rameau, who scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Devareya Rice, who scored 6 points along with 4 blocks.

Sandusky has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 0-5 record. As for Norwalk, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandusky will take on Seneca East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norwalk will be home for the holidays to greet Clyde at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
