Football Recap: ConVal Comes Up Short

ConVal lost against Pelham back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars took a blow against the Pythons, falling 56-7. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire football rankings (they are ranked 50th, while the Pythons are ranked fifth).

ConVal is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Pelham, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. ConVal is set to square off against their familiar foe Hollis-Brookline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pelham will face off against rival Manchester West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Pythons 4.4, the Blue Knights 9.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
