Volleyball Recap: Grace Davis Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Grace Davis hadn't done well against Beyer recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Spartans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Grace Davis took Beyer into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-23, 25-9, 16-25, 15-6.

Nimrat Kaur paced Grace Davis' offense, picking up 15 kills. Kaur got some help from Alyssa Vasquez and her 18 assists. Vasquez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 13 aces.

Grace Davis' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9. As for Beyer, they moved to 9-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Grace Davis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Ceres on the 15th. As for Beyer, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Pacheco on the 15th.
