Soccer Game Preview: Coconino vs. ALA - Gilbert North

The Coconino Panthers will face off against the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Coconino's offense. They lost 8-0 to Casteel on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Colts are ranked first).

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, ALA - Gilbert North rose to the challenge on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Wolves 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Payton Morris and Allie Roseberry scored both of ALA - Gilbert North's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

Coconino's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4. As for ALA - Gilbert North, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
