Volleyball Recap: Coachella Valley Comes Up Short

If Coachella Valley was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Banning last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mighty Arabs lost 3-0 to the Cathedral City Lions on Tuesday. The Mighty Arabs have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Coachella Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Cathedral City, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Coachella Valley will challenge rival Desert Mirage at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cathedral City is set to take on their familiar foe Banning at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
