Softball Recap: Spackenkill Comes Up Short

Spackenkill fell victim to Pine Plains and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Bombers, falling 10-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 18, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Spackenkill's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Pine Plains, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Spackenkill will face off against Red Hook at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pine Plains, they will venture away from home to challenge Highland at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Bombers will need to watch out since the Huskies have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
