Everything went their way against the Elyria Catholic Panthers on Thursday as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Ava Bacon looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kalyssa Werner was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Bartlett, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

The win was the fourth in a row for Lakeview, bringing their record up to 21-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Elyria Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 24-2.
