            Softball Recap: Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles vs. Lutheran Northwest Crusaders        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Stevenson, Plymouth Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by  a  13-3 margin over the Lutheran Northwest Crusaders. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.

 Clara Groen made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 5.2  strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Kate Harris was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs and six  RBI while going 3-for-4. Those  six  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Chloe Paryaski was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Plymouth Christian Academy  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lutheran Northwest struck out seven times.
Plymouth Christian Academy's win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-4. As for Lutheran Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
 Looking ahead, Plymouth Christian Academy will venture away from home to  face off against Southfield Christian  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Lutheran Northwest, they will host Avondale  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Crusaders are facing the Yellowjackets at the right time seeing as the Yellowjackets are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
