Basketball Game Preview: Galt Warriors vs. El Dorado Cougars

Galt is 0-10 against El Dorado since February of 2020 but things could change on Monday. The Galt Warriors will host the El Dorado Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Galt is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Liberty Ranch, falling 60-17. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-11.

Galt's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Antanella Feilbach, who posted no points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals, and Skyler Moore, who earned nine points and seven steals. Moore is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played.

Meanwhile, El Dorado ended up a good deal behind Union Mine on Friday and lost 54-39. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

El Dorado's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Galt, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Galt was taken down by El Dorado 55-11 when the teams last played two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of El Dorado's Keira Hennefer, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 boards.
